Having the new views in My Work is great, but as a PM who manages all of my teams projects across Monday, it would be super helpful to have both the START and END date of a timeline to be shown in the date view. If I have a task scheduled over several days, I only see it show up based on the END date.
Hey @DanielaHuber - while this behavior is currently tied to monday.com’s default My Work logic, one possible workaround is to track due dates and overdue items using a timeline-based automation setup.
You might want to check out our Smart Timeline + Duration app. It gives you more control by letting you:
- Automatically calculate and adjust timelines
- Set reminders based on time periods or duration
- Trigger actions when deadlines are missed
It’s not a full replacement for My Work, but it can definitely help surface important tasks using timelines and automations especially for recurring or scheduled work.
