To use a formula column to update a status column

I saw that Its been 3 years they are still searching a way to implement it to monday.com But it looks like they cant find a solution.

This is very important feature. Some outsource apps can do this. So why monday.com itself can’t do this? We just started to use monday.com and loved it overall. But there are some small things that we suprised how its not avaliable in it.

Any update on this? The formula column still cant affect other column values.

have a look at the awesome “Column Magic” app integration, there is one in there to set status column based on keywords

I’m looking for something similar, I have a number column, if it is negative I want it to trigger a status to set as “over” if it’s positive I want it to trigger it as “under.” Anyone know a way to do this?

Correction the first column is a formula column. Any ideas?
