Search Everything merely shows everything with our name on it. It does not serve as a clean personal to-do list.

Exactly the same problem here, we are fully operational on this platform, but this could be a serious dealbreaker. Please add this feature.

I just upgraded this account and am in shock that this basic feature is not available. There is absolutely no way I can onboard my entire team if they cannot see their to-do listing (minus anything already completed) in order by due date for all boards in one place.

It’s one of the metrics used by the Monday.com team to assess the popularity of individual feature requests. Helps them prioritize.

If there was an automation to unassign when status is set to done i would be kinda happy with the overview ‘everything assigned to me’ in the search all section.

But to be honest i think Monday should offer a better overview of this in the My week section or so

I created a community account just to vote for this- this is a huge issue for adopting this platform. The whole idea is to simplify the tasks assigned to an individual- the fact that you have to toggle between boards to get a clean picture of what needs to get done defeats the point of that. It seems there are many resources being invested in integrations right now, but I would say this just table stakes for a project management platform. Before you start building out these specific use case capabilities, this is a fundamental need!

Bizarre that a task tracking tool lacks the most fundamental feature, a list of my “to-do’s”. It absolutely blows my mind. I’m creating separate JIRA tasks to keep track and prioritize my Monday tasks.

I also created a community account just to vote for this. It is strange that a project management app dosen’t have this feature. I work on just about every project across my organisation and it is a nightmare to keep track of my tasks.

Newcomer to the platform and love it so far, but this is one feature that some of our current user-base is also commonly used to, and would like to have this feature available.

This is critical. We’re evaluating now, and are in the chaos of another system that has the same problem (among a massive list of others). Working cross-project and cross-client, we need to have a view that our employees can view across all work with the ability to sort/filter.

Basically, we like My Week, but instead of sorting by the time view, we’d want to sort by workspace/board/group and filter by status.

Suggestion: the My Week overview would be a more complete dashboard with a right pane. The right pane showing a list of the boards and the status (small view) of the items you are assigned on. The items in the right pane should lead you to a filtered board overview; showing only the items you are assigned on.

Agreed. All terrific suggestions.

I’d love to see the Monday team put some engineering hours this year into improving the core features of Monday to make it a much sharper and more useful tool.

While the items on the Roadmap are of interest, improving core features is a much more urgent priority in my eyes.

Echoing what others have said, the fact that this is lacking is beyond my comprehension. MONDAY has managed to become the only project management tool that lacks a proper to-do-list for team members. But hey, it DOES have a lama farm, so what are we complaining about?

But notice this has been requested more than a year ago, probably even longer.

Which means that Monday does not care and will not provide this feature.

They are just not stating it.

Not sure if that’s entirely true.

I’ve exchanged emails with Monday Support on this issue and they are adamant that they care but they’ve got a huge backlog of To-Do’s.

Whilst I sympathize with Monday.com, I have reviewed Feature Requests on this Community Forum over the past 12 months and I cannot identify one which has made its way onto the Roadmap and into the app. So I’m not clear how they’re prioritizing their new features.

I actually cannot find the Monday Roadmap any more since they removed the link to the last one a few weeks ago without explanation.

Hopefully we see some Feature Requests from these Community Forums implemented soon since they’ve got millions in VC funding in the bank and I’ve got a disgruntled team of Monday users who are craving immediate improvement to the core features to improve their productivity.

I understand. But I don’t think they seriously do care about this core feature - Why would lama farms be in but this feature not?

If they clog their to do list with lama features, no wonder they are backlogged.

But maybe they are just backlogged because they are using their own software and don’t have a central to do lists. And the searching / finding takes then so long.
