Adding my voice here. The ability to have a single item live in multiple boards and dynamically update all instances is critical to my client’s processes and workflows. Exactly like Asana’s multi-home feature: Asana Help Center
Hi community! Thank you for your continued feedback on the ability for items to live seamlessly across multiple boards. We understand the importance of this feature and it most definitely remains part of our vision for the future.
While it’s not currently on the long-term roadmap, it is being actively considered for next year as we explore ways to support more advanced use cases. In the meantime, there’s a great app available in the marketplace called ‘Same Item Multiple Boards’ that could serve as a helpful workaround for this need!
We truly value your input - it plays a key role in shaping our platform. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as plans progress!
When?! We know there are apps capable to do it…after years requesting this and knowing that external companies can do it…why Monday.com still do not have it in the roadmap?
Hi @cabanasr. I am curious: Have you tried the Marketplace solutions for this? I get that we all want everything to be include natively in Monday, but as a developer, I’m trying to understand the thought process other Monday customers go through when they evaluate Marketplace solutions as a “bridge” strategy until popular enhancement requests are added to Monday.
This has been requested since 2022 and your team decided to push it to next year? That’s unfortunate. Same Item Multiple Boards costs a lot of money for bigger orgs…
Hi Amy, This feature has been requested for three years and is ranked first for views and third for replies, with the top two already released. It’s clear the community really wants these features. What is the point of this community space, if you continue to disregard you customers request for less favourable options.
I’m exploring Monday to see if switching from Asna is a wise choice. But without this capability… It’s a NO-NO to do transition; moreover, if you have to pay extra for something so basic!
